Basic mixes
Basic mix 1 (Small seeds)
This mixture fits especially to harvest mice, pygmy mice, greater and lesser Egyptian jerboas, spiny mice and other pets who like small seeds. You can also use it as a diet for too fat mice.
You can mix the basic with variable portions of several complements.
Please notice: This mixture doesn't contain any animal protein! You have to add it according to the needs of the species you keep.
If you keep a species that tends to get fat, be careful with fat seeds. Add only a little or offer them only by hand.
Basis:
- 100g Exotic bird food
- 100g Budgie food
- 100g Wild seeds
- 100g Weed seeds
- 100g Grass seed
Completion:
- dried vegetable
- buckwheat
- milo/dari millet
- fat seeds (pumpkin seed, sunflower seed, flaxseed, …)
- cereal fluffs
- thistle seed
- several cereals
- paddyrice
- several herbs

Basic mix 2 (Cereals and small seeds)
This mixture is suitable for nearly all bigger mice, for example for different jirds an gerbils, fancy mice, natal rats, striped grass mice and many others.
Please note: This mixture doesn't contain any animal protein! You have to add it according to the needs of the species you keep.
Basis:
- 100g Mix of cereals(corn, oat, wheat, rye, barley)
- 50g Buckwheat
- 50g Grass seed and/or weed/wild seeds
- 300g Exotic bird food
- 100g Budgie food
Completion:
- dried vegetables

- fat seeds (pumpkin seed, sunflower seed, flaxseed, …)
